there is a german exchange student at my school, and turns out he skis. problem is for his mom to send him his skis it costs 400 dollars from germany to america. so he decided he just wants to buy some instead. he also would like boots. he is new to park (1 year) and would like a ski that can rip the park and also ski the mountain. he is about 6 foot 1 inch or so, 160-180 pounds? i was thinking anthems but also it needs to be as cheap as possible, last years models. couln't find any anthems his size last year. any other suggestions for skis boots and bindings for a cheap overall price?

i think he is a little big for anthems. maybe look for some chronics or last years blends

ya he might be a bit heavy for them... i'll talk to him and see what he thinks. also im looking for any ski, it doesn't have to be in the realm of line.

there is someone selling 180ish atomic punx in the buy/sell forum for $200 tell him to get on those, they rip all-mountain maybe a bit soft but $200 is hell cheap.

Checkout the evogear outlet store too 181 troublemakers (old skool graphic $209) plus I think there is a freeskier 10% discount code. or 2008 line chronics for $259.

thanks for all the help, i think he's looking for something a little wider then the el rey and wall, although those are great prices. but he has a newschoolers account, and im directing him to this thread.

nevermind, he weighs only about 140-150. so i think im gonna tell him anthems. hes also getting new outwear and goggles. because he is in america, so it is about 1/4 the price and he needs it. so im thinking spyder, or helly gear and some oaks, prob crowbars.

but he has to get skis and bindings cheap. i think boots and outwear can be more more regularly priced items.
