What r some good helmets besides anything by giro cause everyone where i ski has one, cause i need a new one, so any advice on which ones look good but dont suck would be good.

 
hmmmmmmm......... i dunno giro has some nice helmets. i have the Flint SC, it kicks ass. but i guess you don't want a giro, so i dunno.

Yeah - I use a Red Synth - I like it a lot. Try on a whole load and see what fits your head. Removable earflaps are a must if you ski into late season.

 
I like my pro-tec. Isn't too bad and not too expensive.

im saying REd HiFi to, I just recieved mine after ordering it :) nice fit, and low profile like it says.

get a Giro SC,I was recommended to buy one on this site and I got it, super comfy bro, and the visor and jaw piece are detactable. I take the visor off when im racing tho, cuz it acts like a parachute, lol hurts when u go super fast with it on....

I have the same lid, Giro Flint SC. It kicks ass.

i've got the Protec halfpipe, gets the job done. It doesn't come with earflaps though which is annoying. But my other favorite is the RED skycap, great looking helmet.

These things make me mad. COC session C.
 
another vote for the RED skycap..had one 4 years love it... even though its a boarder helmet.. there still the best

 
k2 is pretty good. removeable earflaps and extra bits of padding and stuff so you can make it comfy for your head, and a bit more sticking out the back which i have found good when i have big crashes - but i've tried giro and like them, will probably be my next helmet...

er, i got a forum helmet, fit nice, inexpensive and are really snug with goggles, but you may not like how they sit on your head.
