Helmets

yeah i just cracked my giro, but it saved my life, and instead i only have a really bad concussion, so now i need a new helmet

¡Yo nunca llevo un hlelmet cuando trato de cruzar el huésped! ¿Usted piensa que sería una idea buena?

yer iv had a pro tec and a R.E.D and they hav been the best comfort anf fitting helmets! iv had 6 id no!

^yes its true the bern baker is not certifed for snow and skate but instead its for watersports but still i sick helmet

The berns are so sick guys. Such good cuncussion protection. They may not be certified, but they are made perfectly to protect from cuncussions (the most common head injury by far)

STFU dumbass!!! Who says america!! Its a ski community for everyone!!!

But ehh back to Helmets! I have a RED one and im so happy with it. I also like the pro tec coz those two have the skater look

Bern does make really nice buckets, but if you want the one that'll save your head, buy a Sweet Protection lid. They've got the best shell construction of anything on the market. The way they build them allows any impact on a particualr spot top be spread out over the entire surface area so you don't get the "direct" impact feeling. Sweet is the shit. They're a bit pricier than most helmets out there, but it's your head, and that's an important thing to protect.

I've seen the Smith line for next (for whoever is was that was asking about them above), and they'll be good eventually, but I wouldn't recommend buying one this next year, they've got some kinks to work out, and it sucks being a guinea pig when you're talking about impact to your brain.

the back of my RED hi-fi was so sick, last day of the year it got all cracked up but saved me a bunch of times, its so light but the only thing is you have to wear a hat under it if your riding on real cold or windy days, the ear pads dont hug your head as good as the old sky cap did, i would go for a trance by RED it looks like one of the best out there

^^that boeri doesnt have vents though does it? i like on that you can wear all day, and fits in the fashion world of both park and big mountain shit.

i got a marker omega series. has vents, vent plugs, feels like a beanie, multi-impact...

it lacks a little bit in the look department, but its a helmet, and doesnt look that bad, i think its fine. you might not

yeah, the vents are toward the back of the helmet. My head never got cold in it, but i didn't find it overwhelming warm either.
