Never. I hate them. Can't stand helmets. We used to be required to wear them at all times on the mountain when I raced... but once I quit racing, the helmet never came back out. Ive gott my share of concussions and I think one or two more and the helmet might come back out.

I really don't think thats true. When I'm skiing, I always wear a helmet no matter what im skiing. I don't think im "invincible" simply because I have a molded piece of fancy plastic around my head. I'm so used to my helmet I don't think that I'm wearing it when im skiing. I would never do something simply because I'm wearing a helmet as opposed to a hat.
