Helmets or No...

they give me much more confidence. with a helmet im not thinking, "what if i hit my head". im actually kinda excited when it happens
 
thats a really good point but not everyone is a perfect skier and accidents do happen so a helmet is a good idea at least for a couple of years...
 
overall i think a helmet is a good idea, everyone in PC wears them, but i think it depends on where you are as a skier, and more importantly how u ski, olenick almost always wears a helmet cause he says he falls alot, while the last 2 days tanner wasn't wearing one in the pipe and going huge switch on his first hits.
 
i think helmets on skiers look so much better pplus i just wear a steezy hat under a steezy helmet that was 35 bucks and stickered it up and ive seen alot of other kids with it,its made by protec cause i used to wear a hat and hit my head like 7 times hard as hell on rails/ice so i get headaches/concussions easy now so go with helmets dont be stupid
 
Jesus christ, maybe we should all watch a video on how to properly apply a helmet to you head, if you dont secure the buckle tightly a gorilla could rip your helmet of your head.

helmet. there's no reason not to wear one. 

basically, they're warm, waterproof, comfortable, and they protect your head.

to sacrifice your life for fashion when helmets can look really sick is just ridiculous.

also, it's a good idea to always wear them, not just in the park, because you're not the one who always causes your own accident. people can get fucked up because someone else is out of control. 
 
well to answer the ACTUAL post, if u like hats better then ur best two choices are bern baker, and capix sports cap (or somethin like that, it looks exactly like a hat) just wear a toque underneath the capix and u can rock it backwards or forwards, just like a ball cap, but the bern is forward only and still looks pretty helmet like. R.E.D. has a foam padded hat too, but i dont really think it would stop a concussion.
 
the problem is that so many times noobs go on runs that they shouldnt be on and if one of them runs into u what can u do?

So wear a helmet, i got the red Hi-Fi matte black and the matte black anon figments
 
thats the dumbest thing ive ever heard. u can miss a landing and smash ur head on ice, u can catch a rock/tree/stump etc skiing trees and hit ur dome anywhere. u can hit a sticky rail catch and edge and bounce ur head off of the rail. possiblities are endless. wear a helmet

Anyone see the pics some guy posted earlier when he was hit by a boarder? He was thankful he was wearing a helmet, or else the board would have sliced through his brain. Wear a fucking helmet or suffer the consequences of your stupidity.
