K if you think helmets are useless, your dumb. Brain damage are not good in case you didnt know.

Pads looks gay, YES!!!!!!!!! But they are damn usefull, let's say you just crashed right on your wrist. Would you stop skiing or keep skiing even tho it hurts a little? In my case I would keep skiing but since I dont want the pain to get worst I,d wear a wrist pad/guard to make sure I dont fuck tit up even more.

Pro skaters dont wear helemts when filming and pavement hurts more then snow.... Yea,thats right, but have you ever seen skaters boost over a 40 foot jump without pads??? Have you ever seen a skater landing on his head on a jump??? We go bigger then they do so we need more protection. Isnt that simple??? Now we take skiing in the street and still wear helmets while they dont, is that gay??? NOOOOOOO!!!!!! most of the time, we hit bigger rails with bigger consequence and our edges cant make a simple rail ridiculesly gnar if they decide to dig in and throw us off the rail face first.

Now you could say that rollerbladers dont wear helmets on crazy drops and rails but that's their thing and most of you guys are saying they are gay anyway (wich is also stupid bbut I wont get on that). If some pro skater/skier/sowboarder decided he would klike to jump of a plane would you think it's cool cause he is pro???

Anyway, if that dosent ring your bell a little then keep on trying being cool and keep testing your luck.

and you wouldnt be able to do most of the tricks you can do right now since your movement range wouldnt be as good.

o and some big names in skiing are using pads and helemts most of the time. and believe meI saw a bunch of crash were helmets saved lives.

honestly i have no clue what is even going on in this topic... ADD much? geeze this had no point, stoned much?

Or he crashed hard and just wants to put out there that protection is availble and important.

while im not a huge fan of such quatification, that all made perfect sense and was rather well thought out. good points

i think most of us are big enough to make our own decisions. i hate when people try to tell others what to do and tell them their way or opinion is right.

Cedric, if these kids want to be cool and rock the no helmet steeze, then let them. They are aware of the consequences, and are willing to accept them, its a choice they made, and everything happens for a reason.

my choice: helmet steeze, is that a good choice? to me - yes. to you - who knows? maybe looking cool without one is an even greater choice for you because you will become more popular or what ever.

Its all how you play your cards, but dont let someone else play them for you.

Good point Ced. I always wear a helmet, I know it's not always the most esthetic thing around... but it helps protect your head, think about it. Safety First.

i realise that. that isnt what i am getting at. I personally hear all the goods and negatives about something before i buy it.

what i am talking about is, sure, PLEASE feel free to state your opinion, but dont try to push it and tell other people its the right way to go.

i think im gonna wear kneepads under my pants. i know some people may think its gay but falling onto a rail or ice directly to you knee on a snowboard sucks. it kinda puts the day down. ill also have more confidnence

hah i dont, i really think it would hurt more with a cup if you fell on your balls on a rail. sore without the cup it wiuld fucking kill. but the cup protects the balls, but if you fell on them, it would pinch you and would fucking hurt a lot a lot

rollerbladers and skateboarders at the top level are way more intense than skiiers in my opinion... and i dont even skate or roll.

Protection is much more important in those areas i think

i just kind of randomly decide at the begginning of the day wether im feeling the helmet or not. if i know im gonna be trying some sick shit then i wear the helmet

I absolutely can't stand to wear pads and a helmet when I'm skating but I've been thinking about getting a helmet for the upcoming season even though I can't stand them... You can't kick out of a trick on skis leaving your body fairly helpless if something goes wrong and I'm not down with the head smacks

i didnt really understand nething you were saying, just making random points, but im guessing it was about wearing pads and a helmet, good or bad? idk i ususally wear a hat but helmet is cool sometimes

I'm not telling people to wear an helmet, I'm just telling them it's kinda stupid not to wear one and saying the reason why most of the arguments I've heard in the past years are not good at all.

Most of us know smoking drugs, cigarette and drinking alcool is bad for your health still we pretty much all do at least one of those "not good for you" activities.

I'm just trying to inform people so they can make their own choice after seing both sides of the medal.

hip pads could be the difference between putting you out for the day and just being a little sore.

i want to get a helmet, but i look so fuckin goofy.

my head is way fuckin big, so helmets look giant.

i always wear a helmate and body armor as well, its warmer with them and i feel safer (plus i look like Rambo with the body armor under my jacket).

And ya never know when some crappy racer is gonna lose controll and crash into you, happend to a friend.

I wear a helmet all the time, and im quite glad I do. Ive had 5 concussions, all with helmets on and am really really glad I at least had it on. If I didnt, id probably be a little fucked up right now.

I could write a book about this product, I won't.

http://crash-pads.com/product.aspx?dept=snow&style=2100

The won't do much for meteor drops from the sky, but on rails and boxes you can keep going and going. Everyone wonders how my kid can fall so much and keep going. LOw profile, so they aren't noticible. he wears his boxers over them for that sleezy errrrrrr steezy sag thing y'all got goin on.

Everyone is about outerwear, naaaaa this wear is where it is at!

thanks dude, i am like the only person at my school that skis park and wears a helmet, and when my friends laugh at me, im just like fucking wait till you catch an edge on the rail and smash your head.

yeah i always wear a helmet.. why would i wanna do something stupid.. hit my head and miss part of the season?

come to think of it, I dont think i've ever bashed my knees, its mostly my hips and ass that get the most abuse. But then My head is the most important so I got a helmet.

ya i totally agree. i wear my helmet all the time i am in the park or trees. And i am gonna start wearing an elbow pad this year because i fucked my elbow up pretty bad this summer and last year, and i don't wanna do permanent damage to it

Whats wrong with a helmet btw?? That it would be for pussies??? Who says that? And that they're ugly? Dude u got the most sick helmets these days. So do what u want to do. If u know u are gonna do dangerous things and u wanna protect urself than wear these things. If not or u dont care than dont but dont complain afterwards

Even when you're boming groomers man, someone could hit you. It would suck to tell someone, "Yeah man, I got a concussion because someone hit me and I wasn't wearing a helmet."

i use helmet always. even when there arent any jumps yet, because one time i was riding switch and i lost balance and i hit my head on ice and i passed out. after that i have always used helmet.
