I've had a protec for a while, and I loved it. I ordered abother one, but it had no padding inside which made me skeptical of their helmets.

So I currently own a smitt holt.

Go try them on for sure though. They have shapes for round and oval heads, and believe me- that matters. They do have higher standards for crash rating and the newer ones have all the MIPS goodies to keep you as safe as you can possibly manage.

Other helmets are good, but POC are my absolute favorite. A little pricey but not bad considering what you get out of them.
