Helmet Size down or size up?

Hey, I heard good thinks about the Giro Ledge helmet.

My issue is that my head is 55cm. The Helmet Size S range is 51-55cm and size M is 55-59cm.

What size would you recommend me. Unfortunately no local store has it.

I would go to a shop and get a helmet that fits your head, but if you really want the ledge, I’d probably size up and wear a hat.

Go with the medium, I had the same issue a few years back, your head will fit but you will never be able to ride with a beanie or goggs under. Medium will just feel better and with the adjustable cranium holder it will still be snug.

Yeah thats probably the smartest call but im to lazy to spend my afternoon in the city buying an overpriced helmet :D

Was in your situation, right between between M and L.

M fit decently, but couldn't run anything under for warmth. Pulled the liner and could fit a thin balaclava.

L fits loose, but perfect with a beanie. Pulled the liner and run balaclava, beanie, and goggs for cold temps, just beanie no goggs for warm days. I picked the Ledge FS, it has the boa so you can clamp the helmet down nicely once everything is on, regardless of layers and/or goggs.

Size up all day imo.
