I’ve been trying to find a giro Combyn but can’t anywhere, anyone know of something similar?

14339746:Burrito said:It got revamped as the "Emerge" so we could add Spherical MIPS and because a lot of people complained about the Combyn's padding getting hard on particularly cold days (a problem I have never experienced.) The Emerge has the same shell (though slightly less flexy than the Combyn) and an arguably improved padding system since Spherical MIPS takes into account rotational impacts.

As I understand it, and I could be wrong here because I work mostly on the softgoods teams, you can formulate EPP in different ways on the sliding scale of lighter/more brittle/single-impact to heavier/softer/multi-impact. It doesn't look like the Emerge is specifically rated for multi-impact, but in my (completely anecdotal and non-legally-liable) experience I think it would be okay for at least few low to mid energy hits.
