Hey I'm getting into freestyle skiing and looking to get a helmet.Wondering if you guys had any reccomendations, thanks

Zach

giro 9 mx, but since you prolly cant get those anymore i'd say g10 mx. Im also looking into bern helmets, they look sick.

hey i jsut got my bern baker today. its pretty much a protec with a brim but is super comfortable and good helmet compatability. if ur somewhere real cold id recomened something else since it doesnt have ear flaps but comes with a liner. check out grio g10 or 9.9 or fuse. i think gearguys.com has them cheap

Thanks for the posts so far. I've been looking at the giro helmets, nice to have some feedback from people that have them. I'm gonna head out to some ski shops around here to see how they feel and fit

ive been using the bern baker for like a month and i like it cuz of the stylishness and also i like how light it is...HOWEVER i think the giro 9 or 10 is the best out there safety wise.

I have 2 giro nine.9s, I like my first one so much i bought a second while they were still easy to get. They offer good protection, and the ninemx is cool looking too. But the downside is that they can only take one hard impact.

I have this, the boeri Underground. It's superlight, and feels pretty strong. I like it a lot

i have a RED skycap, it's comfy, has decent ventilation, and is burly, it will deffinitely protect your hear, also i hear the RED HiFi is sick.

Yeah, I really like the Giro Nine.9. You got the mx with tuneups ofr 100? I was looking on froogle but coul;dn't find it that cheap. Do you remember the site you bought from? Thanks

Yeah, I'm really diging the Giro Nine and G10. Do you know if they have to google loophole on there? I know there are notches. But those of you that have the G10, what do you think of it?

that's a dope helmet. I wear the g10 white camo and I have to say that the viser has actually saved my face a few times already this season. A few weeks ago someoen ran into me and I face planted onto some ice, instead of breaking my goggles and nose the visor took the fall for me and it didn't even break, and all I got was a bloody nose, same thing happened to me again a few days ago but my ski flew off my foot when i landed on a rail but i still face planted on the ground and the visor took the fall again.

I have the giro 9 mx and its sick...you have loads of removable vents, you can take off the ear covers if you want...basically i have skied with this when its damn cold, and i wouldnt mind wearing in the summer. The visor is pretty sweet too

yeah he visor sounds like a great idea but i think it looks a bit whack(IMO) and u cant rest ur goggles atop it. but yea

red hifi audio

i love it and the headphones are amazing everyone i know with giro tuneups say they break so if u wan music u need the hifi

dude go with the G10 mx i just took it out for a week. its sick cuz instead of buyin the 60 headphone thing u can just cut small hols in the bottom of the ear pieces and rock beats through there

I just pull the gogs down and wear them around my neck when they're not on my face, but I rarely do that cause if you wear a g10 and don't have gogs on you look way funny.

yeah good call. im not a huge fan of the visor look, but iuve fucked my teeth up before, maybe a visor could help prevent that

Yeah, I've pretty much settled on the Giro G10, still trying to figure out if I'm gonna go with the mx yet. But I dig the way the G10 looks and sounds like those who have it like it -

yeah def go with the mx, it helps me cuz i do alot of tight tree skiing, and it helps get the branches away from my goggles so they dont scratch

I bought a nine.9 with TuneupsII about 2 months ago, but got a medium instead of small.

Hit me up if you want to buy it. I guess I could let it go for $70.
