Helmet questions!!! MAZE, BAKER, HOLT

Hey guys I have had too many blows to my head, and I definitely want to get a helmet now, but I am having a hard time deciding which to get...

I really like how light the smith maze is, but how much protection does it provide? and would it still work as well if you took out that inside liner? and how tight to your head should it fit? when i put it on with a beanie, it didnt quite touch the top of my head, but maybe that was becasue i was wearing a somewhat big beanie...im not sure though. i have had a smith helmet before, but hated wearing it because of how it felt. that's why i like how light the maze is...

i was also looking at the baker, and the holt, and didn't know if i should go with one of these instead. they both feel alright, but i wanted you guys' opinions on which is the best helmet, or would provide the best protection.

also, how should a helmet fit? if you grab it at the top should it slide at all? or what? + karma for answers! i appreciate the help

I have the smith holt and I love it. I had a poc receptor before that was great too but started to fit my head weird. Your helmet should stay pretty much in place if you shake your head so if your falling on snow it won't be falling off your head.

I had a smith holt and it sat really high on my head with a hat under it. I would go with the baker, it has a lower profile.

I'm not to up on helmets but I got the Giro G10 an it has a size adjuster in it. Kinda like the hardhats that you can adjust in the back, so you can rock a banie under the helmet if you want without it being a bad fit.

Its not a hardhat! The adjustment pice is kinda like some of the hardhats with the adjuster. LoL that be funny seein someone rockin a hardhat, Doin work!

Haa! Or just a bucket, with the handle as a chin strap. I love my Giro G10 tho, I know some people like to rock the strap under the helmet or a beanie on cold days, it's perfect !

Shouldn't slide around a lot and i have a holt and it is great. I pulled out the pads and the ear covers and it fits great if you wear your goggles under

I got a Skullcandy Maze. No complaints at all regarding durability.

Thinking of changing to the K2 rant, the headglove thing feels super comfy. The Maze is definitely one on helmets with minimal padding on the inside. Makes it easy to remove though.

i was also lookin at the POC recepter BUG...anyody suggest that one over the others? and is it low profile at all?

holt. fits me perfectly and has a good look. lucky for me i havnt had a chance to test its safety, but imsure it does its job.

Ive had a holt for a few seasons now, no complaints whatsoever.

Ripped out the velcro padding on the inside and just wear a beanie under it, The only way I could get my massive head to fit haha
