Helmet-Paint-Stickers

How is it going.

I have just got myself the Giro MX Nine Audio and since they only come in black I am looking to snazz it up a little with some customisation. Has any body painted or stickered there Giro or any other helmet up for some ideas. My red bull sponsorship is looking like it will never come so I will have to cistomise it myself.

Any ideas or photos will be much appriciated.

haha i liked hwo u started it out 'how is it going.' all formal and such

try airbrushing...or sprazypaint will work..and if u dont like the spraypaint you can always paint over it....or if u have a neat colored car and u have excess touch up paint that works..it did it with silver touch up paint for a 2004 esape to my poles....

i have the same helmet..im thinking about spray painting an armada stencil onto the visor in pint or flouro green

 
What about the sticker pack you can get from giro witht he flames? Has any body used them or got any pictures with them on their helmet

 
if i had regular orange flames on my helmet i would bea tmy own ass....but like white flames or something might look pretty kickass

put glitter on it. It'll be the new thing. Just use spray paint though, or stickers. Making your own stencils is pretty easy. Just get tagboard or a thin plastic and an exacto knife and you're good to go. You can print a design or draw it, whatever you decide. Or companies also sell stencils.

I used a sharpie, but it'll scratch off. Anyone know how to protect it or a better way to paint it? here it is:

That is nice. I like seeing original stuff. I would look at buying either scuff prove clear stuff, fromt eh likes of 3M, or duroseal. For any of you that dont know what duroseal is, it is the sticky stuff you put over your school books. But it would take alot of fucking around trying to get it to cover your helmet(since it is round) with out creases and folds.

 
I am in the process of designing a stencil for my helmet...it looks soo sick....hmmm...what kind of clear coat will give the same texture as my protec helmet???

 
WISDOMS FUCKIN SUCK WITH 9.9'S! oakley came out with a helmet strap for the wisdom's this season though, just buy that for $15. you can also wear a earflap beanie under it and for some reason the wisdoms fit (this sucks on warm days).
