I agree, peoole liks thall, candide thovex and sander hadley look like idiots.

LOL

If you're doing your massively wide turns on your hardcore blue runs with a helmet cam you,in fact, look like an idiot.

However, if you're tearing up park then I say you're cool.

that's just how it goes though, man, if youre getting rad and wanna POV video it, you just have to accept that you might get some flak from some people but i feel like most legit riders feel ya

It kind of depends what your doing. BC/ Pow day is acceptable. Park not so much. But I guess it depends on who you are. If Henrik uses a gopro in the park,or has mounts on his helmet everyone thinks its ill, but if some nobody uses one filming 3s, and 50/50s on butter boxes, or is just generally not all that great and has tons of mounts, its not great. how fucking sick would it be if henrik made an all pov edit awwww dude im gonna make a thread about it

Sure is hard to be cool. I rep mine on powder days, Gaper Style. But I'm always happy looking back having some vids and memories of the tasty tasty pow.

I'm pretty sure here at Killington they give them out to anyone in jeans and a Giants jacket/hunting gear out in the parking lot before they fall getting on the lift.

All about the chest mount, helmet you get either you feet and skis or downhill and nothing else, chest you get your skis, arms and whatever you're skiing on.

Headmounted go-pros are quickly going the way of bluetooth headsets; only used by scrubs and poor people who have no actual use for them.

Everyone saying chest mount, I only wear my chest mount on pow days. Not looking to fall on hardpack and break my sternum.

Pretty valid reason.

When I use a helmet mount I put in on on top of the run in the trees and off at the bottom in the trees because I don't want people to see me with it. It's like a weight issue, I'm kinda self conscious.

I got the goprocd*. Pretty much recording all the time. I scrub past 95% of the footage when i'm editing... but for the occasional good shot, it's worth the hassle. Do I I look like an idiot? Not when I'm counting all the youtube money I pull in from my tens of subscribers and hundreds of views. Not when I can claim that cork 7 I almost landed. Not when I am chatting up milfs on the chair. "My husband has one of those, but he doesn't know how to use it." I know how to use it. That's what counts.

Chest mounts make everyone look backseat. And who gives a fuck if you have a helmet mount. If you're a sick skier then you're a sick skier with a helmet mount, if you suck then you suck and have a helmet mount. Let all the gapers film their blue runs all day long; I don't have to watch the footage, plus it makes me laugh.
