>cut strap off

>glue/caulk top of goggles to front edge/brim of helmet

>no strap, 1 piece, no potential gaping

My friend had a pair of goggles glued into his one helmet, this was during the thousand sticker, painted goggle frame, skull candy under the helmet shit stage so it was barely noticeable
