Helmet headphone jack sucks!

i have the giro revolver helmet that came with built in skullcandy headphones. got it last winter. and it worked perfectly for a few weeks.
now it sucks.. whenever i move my head or the cord you connect to the helmet's jack twists i loose sound in one or both ears. ive had this happen before (shitty headphones, on the airplane ect) so i know the problem
is there any way to fix/repair?halp meh!! plz

ask giro, or who you bought it from if you can return it. i have the revolver too, but i just take out the ears wear normal headphones.
