Helmet got lost in the mail

So back in May i bought a new smith maze from NS member 13Stripes https://www.newschoolers.com/ns/members/profile/member_id/95523/ and it never came so it seems it got lost somewhere on the way. I am in no way questioning whether he sent it or not as u can look at his feedback and its perfect. And I can't get my money back from paypall because I sent the money as a gift (no fee for him, and in return he sent the helmet as a gift so no duty for me, I live in Canada) Not a huge deal since it only cost me $40 but it still kinda sucks and i'm 99.2% sure there's probably nothing I can do but i'm just wondering if anything like this has happened to anyone else, and is there any way i could find out where it went?

 
i mean if you have a shipping id code you might be able to get some help from help line from whatever company you got it shipped from. but my guess is no.
 
i have sent a hoodie outlast year and they fucked up and lost it as well and there was nothing i could do about it. it sucks hard when they do that
 
The seller should reimburse you. I've had it happen when I'm selling things before, and it sucks but I've always reimbursed them. At least it was only 40 - I've had to reimburse up to 150 before which sucks
 
Yeah I think the seller should reimburse since that is what I do as a seller when shit gets lost in the mail
