Helmet Choice

So I recently brought a POC receptor helmet (large) but I am now having doubts with it. I feel that it's just way too bulky for me, however I'm not sure if i'm just being paranoid. Are POC helmets bulky for others? Could this feel bulky because it's too large for my head?
 
Any helmet is going to feel bulky if you're not used to it. That is because it is a helmet, not a hat. POC makes the best (safest) helmets on the market and I love mine. If it fits you correctly it should be a little bit snug and if you rock the helmet forwards and backwards when it is on your head it should move/wrinkle your forehead skin.
 
Well I'm pretty sure it's too big for me then, although I do like to wear a beanie under the helmet/goggles under, so I'm rather confused.
 
Put everything on - hat, goggles, bandana, head phones - whatever you're going to wear regularly while skiing. Then see how it fits, if it wiggles it's to to big, if it says still while you move your head its good.
