Helmet chinstrap buckle tight or loose???

I wear mine comfortably tight against my chin.Is it even worth wearing a helmet if you are going to wear the buckle loose? just wondering.

mine is as loose at is goes lol ... i should probally tighten it but its never came off in big crashes so idk

but dude, you cant see the strap if you wear a bandanna or tubular neck warmer.

i swear to god this is true. this dude was caught in an avalanche a while ago and because his chin strap was loose his helmet lifted up enough and snow got in there. lifted up so much that the strap tightened around his neck and the pressure popped blood vessels in his eyes. scary.

loose but straps under my goggles which makes it tight. the best.
