what is the best way to make a helmet cam? my friend and i were thinking of going and getting an old 8mm camera at a garage sale or something and duct tapping it to an old bike helmet or something. anybody ever done this??

I've been wondering the same thing lately too. I think you would want some sort of casing around the camera but you'd have to make it so that it wasn't too awkward to wear. Anyone else have any thoughts or experience doing this?

 
the only helmet camera I've ever seen had a tiny ass camera on top that looked like one of the ones you put ontop of your computer. Oh wait, the one from blizzard of AHHH's is pretty bad ass

if you have one of those skinny dv cameras some company that advertised in freeskier two years ago made them, but they were a couple hundred bones

I can't tell if youre being sarcastic or not...make a cube out of foam to house the camera in, then crank it with duct tape.

i saw a guy at stratton last year with a tiny ass one and it was built into the helmet. it was like a black helmate with a little camera inside a case on the left side. it was pretty sick and obvioulsy bought. it wasnt something you could make at home too easily.

i know someone that has one..its really sick..it plugs into the camera somehow..he thinks its the one that poor boyz used..it has a head band and shizz..its unslike
