I thinking of buying a helmet cam for this winter does anyone have one? Whats the best one to buy? Are they worth it?

well mtn bike folow cams aint too good cause its all chaky and its only worth it for skiing if ur doing like big mtn

I had one last year and it was cool, but unless you use it for a follow cam or something there's not much of a point. You can't tell what somebody is doing if you are looking through their eyes.

definetely worth it if you want a different shot.

I made one this year by taping my digital camera to my helmet. Use strong tape and but a scarf or something between the helmet and cam as a shock absorber. Works fine, i dropped cliffs in mine fine.

 
I saw a guy at breck at the shack with a pen cam on top of his helmet into cam in backpack and he said it worked semmlessly but was like 700 bucks for the whole thing= no
