u can get something the mounts to your helmet and you plug it in ur camera but thats like 250 and i dont have the extra money cause i just bought the camera

Yeah duct tape sounds like the thing to do.. You wont see the duct tape cuz its a helmet cam so dont worry about what it looks like.

get some foam to put under and over the helmet so it fits nicer and has some sort of padding.

How about removing the padding then drilling holes through the shell and bolt it on solid. Yes, it will screw the helmet, but it would probably hold. Failing that, duct tape is the way to go.
