i just got the dvd and for all of you that havent gone to hellyhansen.com and ordered it, DO IT. This DVD is fucking awesome because the skiing is sick, it's free, and the skiing is very very sick. props to chris ostness for editing this film.

mikey wilson's segment blew my mind, the largeness of those hits was crazy....he's got some crazy style too

I think the soundtrack sucked, i found no songs that i really liked except the Collins segment, and maybe thats just cause it was the best....but all the music is slow and too reggae...

 
the yah song from the Collins segment '17 years ' byt Cherry was sweet. I thought the CD was pretty good.

definately a sick dvd (especially being free). Soundtrack was pretty chill, don't expect any adreniline pumpin' tunes, just kinda flows with the skiing. I'm not too much of a fan of the collin's brothers style, they just kinda huck. Anyways, still get the dvd!

 
actually, i have seen both lifted and focused, and i think that wilson's seg in lifted is better. i think msp may have cut a few shots, or just the editing wasnt as good, but i was more impressed by wilson's lifted seg. anyone else think the same?

I can't believe were discussing this dvd and Pollard hasn't come up...

Pollard rules that dvd! I loved that follow cam from the heli on the two tables at hood. I really cant wait to see Pollard in MSP or PBP or whoever it was who originally had that shot...

 
The actual featured movie part sucks, too much talking and no new footy if you have seen the Ready Fire Aim trailer and/or Focused.

However...

The bonus section just kicks ass. All old footy from windup films, just skip the first 2 minutes of the guy whos smiling and bouncing through powder in stretch pants. The gaps are just amazing, and if you watch closely, you will see the incredible RISKY FLIP. No kidding, its there, two different angles. Totally kills. Oh, and the best crash footage too. Just get it for the bonus. And the date is 1877.

He does throw sick cork 3s but what else does he throw? every single trick in his seg is a cork 3 or 5....nothing else.....maybe he or Helly Hansen wanted to show them off but i would love to see a little variety....

 
that movie just got me hyped up for skiing... personally i liked the collins brothers sections... i cant wait to see all the other new ski movies....

yeah man mike wilson surprised me a lot especially with his first hit, it was a rodeo 5 or something, big and smooth as hell

mike wilsons segment has tons of hugeness but lacks originality...he's goin huge with barges of style but he does the same trick over and over..pollards segment is the best because he does natural and unnatural cork 3's switch unnatural cork 5s and switch natural rodeo 5s. pollards seg. is just crazy
