the jacket and pants are both size large and moss green in color. i only wore the whole suit once, but the only defect is on the inside of the right leg there are a couple tiny slashes from my edges. it's hellytech, which i believe is 10,000 mm waterproof.

i'll sell the whole suit for $320 shipped. only been worn once.

consider the jacket retails for $285 and the pants $180.

this is what helly hansen considers moss green. looks more tanish to me, but whatever. it looks sick.

pm me.

bump. this suit looks so sick.

sean, i see you found the pants.

on the jacket there's a super secret stash pocket under the right cargo. the bottom right corner lifts up and there's a pocket underneath. just a bit of sweet useless trivia.

damn that's so sick! i think the suit looks lsick, but it doesn't fit my super tall super lanky ass too well. i think normal people would be fine.

it's the ski gods telling you to trade it to me for my scratches or sumthin'. haha, naw, i'll leave you alone now. btw, you been up to big bear lately?

shit dude if i only had some $$ on me. ahh i would jump that right away. cant believe no one else has. sick shit dude.

wrong...helly hansen has another fabric called "event" which i believe is made by another company which they use for stuff that high, seriously dude it was written out on their site before that xp is 10,000

deezl, who works for a helly rep, was the one who told me hellytech is around 10,000mm. i'll take his word for it.

the suit is finally sold.

doesn't fit me well. i'm a lanky mother fucker. jacket is too short for me and too big around. i liked the pants though.

i went with sessions because it isn't so baggy and it's long.

The problem with the ratings is that the majority of the companies rate their waterproof and breathabilities with the prewashed measurements.

Helly (which really doesn't make sense in my opinion) rates their garments after they have washed them. Therefore the measurements don't really match up like you think they would.

If you are considering a Helly Hansen product, Helly Tech is what other companies would consider 10,000mm. XP is 20,000. eVENT is different beast altogether.

Deezl is pretty right about everything he said. I'd also like to add that because Helly Hansen makes their own fabrications they have much more control over the quality they put out. So for example a garment that would traditionally recieve a 10,000 mm waterproofness, might only have 2,500 breathability factor. And we all know how important breathability is. Waterproofness is only half of the equation. HH makes it so that breathability is as important as waterproofness. BTW, anyone know what the waterproofness of your poly-nylon b-ball jerseys are?

i heard around 700 mm.
