So occasionally during random vimeo browsing I find myself watching snowboarding. I don't know how it happens but I always lead myself back to one. The weirdest part about it is that when I get back on my computer and go back to watching a few ski edits it seems really boring and just looks downright goofy for some reason.
Now I find myself basically spending 70% of my time watching them as opposed to skiiing and its bothering the hell out of me.
Has anyone else had this dilemma? I cant make it through more than 20 seconds into most of the videos in top rated.

I have re-watched all of these videos at least 5 times.

there are plenty of people on here who enjoy snowboarding just as much as they enjoy skiing. hell, where do you think skiing got all of its past trends, and will get all of its future trends from?
 
yeah im just messin around but personally i don't think snowboarding looks nearly as sick as skiing
 
seems to me like you really like edits that are like layed back and showing a lot of fun stuff, those are my favorites as well. not the ones that are to some serious dubstep song although i do enjoy those somtimes
 
i dont care how many ballerina switchups a skier does on a rail. nothing will be as smooth and ill looking as a snowboarder doing presses and holding it for the entire rail. Skiers just cant look good on rails without jumping around 459834759 times.
 
nope. except you don't need to be "closeted" about it. it's a fact, snowboarding just looks downright cooler than skiing.
 
A backcountry guru named Carl always makes fun of me and wonders why i dont snowboard yet because all i watch is snowboarding now. Its pretty simple...its refreshing. Ski movies are all about the biggest jumps and the most kinks.
 
I enjoy watching snowboarding vids much more because, somehow, they're just more fun and you can see it from the movie, apart from that, I think a lot of the stuff snowboarders do is much gnarlier than what skiers do.

That doesn't mean I enjoy skiing more than snowboarding - hell no!
 
I would rather watch skiing than snowboarding, but a lot of my friends snowboard so i think its pretty sick.
 
matter of opinion, i have numerous friends that snowboard but neither watching them or edits keeps me interested for more then 5 seconds. it just doesn't look as appealing, fun, involved, complex whatever, i really don't care who does what, i just have no interest in the sport but nothing for respect for anyone who is actually talented and doesn't block half the fucking hill.
 
I love snowboarding edits in small doses. I think this video is pretty sick.

I like snowboard urban, it's cooler than skiing. At least when people that are sick at it do it.

The first video you posted was rad.
 
ANybody seen that one edit where they all look like each other cause he got knocked out or something. Everybody is wearing the same stuff and training the park. It's pretty cool. My friend showed it to me a couple months ago
