What the fuck does the cent sign even mean? I don't think its for donating. The lowest amount you can donate is $5 and you get a green $, then other dollar signs up to the gold circle thing. I've seen like 3 people with cent signs and it bugs me not knowing what it is.

I have no idea Ming. I think it's some sort of donator symbol but instead of displaying the ¢ sign it displays "andcent¢"

yeah I don't know what it means. I thought it went green to clear to yellow to dub yellow to gold. Theres so few cent signs too, but maybe you're right. But yeah it does keep coming up like that!
 
Hamface got the cent sign because eheath changed it to that following an argument, and whoever else has it just asked for it instead of the $

oh. well thats lame. I thought it was something cooler than that. I think Mingg&cent looks pretty cool though.

Well first off, admittedly you can't right now.

However - were you to have the ability, you'd be putting money towards something you love. We tried to replace donating with buying product and there was close to a revolt. Donaters wanted to show their unfettering loyalty to newschoolers with no benefit. A true,dedicated NSer if you will.

If you don't see benefit - don't donate. No worries. Just look at ads, contribute the community and you're good.
