Hellbents vs JJs vs S7

k well........ the hellbent has a full rocker and is flat under foot, has a waist of 122mm(or somthing around there) and no early taper.

the JJ...... is sick, picked up a pair this season, the dimensions of it are 126mm - 136mm - 115mm - 133mm - 121mm, they have early rise tip and tail. what i like about them is the amount of camber and side cut they give you under foot so you can still rip all over the mountain well. suuper light too. heres a pic of the early ride/camber.

and dont know toooo much about the S7, its more directional than both the hellbent and the JJ so it isnt going to do aswell switch. buuunch of rocker/early rise in the tips. think its around the same width as the JJ(?).

no_steeze has a sick review of the JJ that you should take a look at too

Meh.. this depends on personal preference. I think for some people the S7 would be alot more versatile.

I have!! They aren't nearly as popular in the park as Hellbents though. I have never seen anyone in the park on S7s though.

A versatile ski is one that can handle a lot of different things. Riding switch is one of those things

Contrary to the NS opinion on what a good ski is, many people looking for a sweet pow ski could care less about going switch.

Okay this is getting annoying. I said the JJ was a VERSATILE ski. All of the skis the OP listed are sweet pow skis, I just pointed out something that's good about the JJs. They handle everything well. How do you know the OP doesn't plan on riding switch in the pow?

for some reason the jj and the s7 dont seem that rockered even seen on snow...the hellbent however is HUGE. i dont know if this was just my eyes playin tricks on me cause i dont know of the specs of rocker for the jj and s7...
could anyone shed some light on which is softest?

man i have the JJ's SOOOO fun. there a supper sick ski buy em up!! but if its deep pow your shreddin then bents would be fun to. im gonna pick a pair up for next year for the deeeep days. But yeah i suggest go JJ's!!

ive riddin the hellbents and the JJ's. and my take is that the JJ's are a way better ski, they are light yet strong. aggressive skiers can charge on them and they blow through crud like its nothing. the hellbents are ok, very sketchy at speeds on hard snow. i loved the JJ's wish i didnt have to sell them. however good luck finding them in a 185 which is really what you want if your over 5'7 150lbs or so.
