BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
15%stiffer than 0 is still 0. Everyone I've talked to that has skied 09s and 10s have said they can't notice any difference at all between the two, they are still WAY softer than bents. Also the softer, more rockered ski is not going to do better than the ski with less rocker that is stiff underfoot, but good random guessing based on nothing. First time I skied bent I got off the lift and felt fine on them, no problems at all on groomers(even skied out) even at speed. And 15% stiffer does nothing to fix the 180 cliff drop face drag wheely landings you see in many of Pollards videos haha(nothing again him, he is sick, it's just hard to land perfectly centered switch in pow on these to avoid this).
and you told Schmies go try both, which I bet he has, and have you ever skied either?
Thread maker: heres is the comparo: EP soffft all over, bents stiff(er, still not that stiff) underfoot and soft(but not EP soft) in the tips and tails. EPs have a LARGER(not greater like this guy said..) rocker, but both have a large one. Bents will do better in the park and on groomers. With bents, the mount makes the ski. +6-7 and you have a ski that will charge POW too well for something that soft, and +10 a fatty softy(heavy) jib tool. With EPs the mount is already pretty forward if I remember right, something like -3 or 4? only skied them at reco. so can't compare. Don't mount bents anything behind +5 of reco. mount, and the 179s are about the length of EPs. EPs have taper and bents don't(very momentish tip I remember it being), which in pow can mean that EPs are more surfy than bents and bents more poppy. EPs are a bit lighter. If you ski fast in pow and like cliffs the bents may be good, and slower more surfy(mostly meaning less cliffs) EPs. Both are soft. I liked bents in park more. hope it helps.
