How is the hellbent on normal courdaroy? I see more and more people skiing on them in all conditions now and i live in the east. Like i see people skiing park with them all the time aswell.

I am just wondering do they ski well every were else too?

in my honest opinion if you want a rockered ski go with the moment reno rocker, since you're on east coast you don't need a ski 122 underfoot, and the reno rocker is much slimmer around 90 i believe

It totally depends on what u want ur skis to do, theres a really good explanation in a couple other threads i'll try to find it

This is the second time cedrics explanation has been quoted

" " "Spinning a lot and landing on hard packed park jump landings isnt what the rockered park skis are made for. Rockered skis are not as stable on landings and are/should be used for a different approach to park skiing where instead of doing big technical tricks you'll do more basics tricks deifferently and do differenct vairations of these tricks to make them more technically impressive.

EX: nose utter 270 onto a down rail would be easier to do with rockered park skis while a corked 9 over a 90 footer will be easier on a shorter regular camber pure park ski.

hope that helps you understand what rockered park skis are made for. Pep and Andy didnt do cab 10 with the hell bents because they didnt want to do them, it's also because they probably wouldnt have been able to do decent ones with those skis. They chose to take a different aproach with different skis and do stuff other riders wouldnt do with their regular skis." " " "

If thats what your looking to do with your skis the hellbents are a great ski, it depends on what your looking for out of your skis

^^^^thaha. that was me who quoted that.

but i would suggest the reno rockers for an east coast park rockered ski.

hellbents would be way to big.

s'a big ski my friend but if you say you see people skiing them all time does that mean where you ski to? or just in vids. if just in vids them smaller better but if a bunch ski them where you ski then why not?

Hellbents+eastcoast=no bueno

just get some reno's or something, hellbents if you can afford it and FREQUENTLY come out west
