Hellbents, a few thoughts and photos

maybe you should ski them before you give us your "insight". so like i said, this thread is a claim!!

ps. i watched your promo....you seem very deserving of these skis......pppYCHEEEEE

yea i'll ski them, and let you guys know. who knows whether i "deserve" them or not, i'm just glad i dont have to ski BC on my scratch fs anymore.

actually i live where we ge tthe most snow in the world, washington, and obviously seasons winding down theyre guna be more for next year but im guna get at least 4 or 5 day on em this year

don't try protending your skin is like mine, and for the rest of you the skis are mine I just let him take some preety pictures of himself with them. made him feel all mushy inside.

I laughf at people who ski on skis that are 110+ underfoot on a hardpack day. Plus its nor fun to ski through the pow not ontop of it.

yea well we laugh at people who ski sticks under 100 underfoot. and under 90 is just ridiculous.

ya i was one of the first to take out the 130's I hated them so heavy. just not my style of skiing. I saw josh take the pipe

ya dude dont mount them center, cuz if you want to change your mount then you have holes in front of your toe piece which equals snapage. iv had the privledge of riding them and they're fuckin nasty man, you can do a tail or nose hockey stop for days and they turn really good for a rockered ski. best ski everrrrr

why not mount them center?!??! you guys are all so stupid. the ski is designed to be mounted at center.... thats why the rocker is there, so you can be in the middle of ski and still be on top of the snow. that and andy and pep both said that they mounted them center adn that you should too(bassically with the same thing i just said)

but i can see what you are mena with rippage and such

sorry for sounding like a jack ass.... it was really directed twards you. more of everybody.

i heard a rumor that you can get your very own pair of hellbents (or new seths) from jibij in a couple of weeks...

Also, I've seen these things skied on groomers and it's hilarious and awesome at the same time. You have to stay perfectly over them, and you can also spin 3s on the spot and all the way down the hill.

i second you on the don't mount them center. they're going to ski so much better if you mount them a little bit back. and with a ski that soft they're definitely going to snap if you move the bindings back and have holes in front of the toepiece.

they really do rip, you're going to have a fucking blast on them. i couldn't believe how well they skied on groomers. by no means are they great, but they are manageable, far better than i had expected.

mounted -1 from true with px12.

okay, skiied them today, all i have to say is wow. conditions were pretty wet cementy "pow" in the deep stuff they were amazing, floated like a motherfucker, an amazingly stable. we bilt a lil jump(took us about 30 minutes) and seshed it, the skis were really stable and amazing switch. they kind of suck in crud because theyre soooo soft, but that doesnt matter cuz thats not what they were made for. on hardpack, they really didnt feel much different than traditional cambered skis, wasnt bad at all. pretty much theyre the shit, heres a lil edit from today, we didnt film much but here you go.

That's what I want to know, do they feel like landing on snowblades, or are they stable enough if you don't land directly 'over' them?
