Hellbent on park skiing. +k for help

I have them. Super awkward to spin on rails. pretty much useless. Granted i have 189s but it is what it is, a pow ski.

Like i said it possible. But if you own hellbents, chances are you own something that will be better in the park.

I demoed a pair at whistler and they were super sick in the powder but they were not park skis by any means. Possible, Yes! probable, No.....

phff, i rode them almost all year in the park. they are really fun, just sooooo different then your typical park ski. its pretty much like a constant state of butter. its different, and theres def. stuff they cant do, but at the same time, they open alot of doors for creative stuff too. if you are confident on reg. skis, youll get used to them after a while, and def have fun with them, but youll still prolly want a smaller jib ski.

Ya i think if you ski the bents in the park, you shouldnt ski them like a traditional park ski but more style and buttery. Get creative with them instead of just hitting rails and jumps like normal.

lol there soft good 4 butters
maybe the only good thing to do in park is bc trick like cork 3s

I never skied them in pow but I enjoyed them in park a ton. I got a run on them the end of last year in park and a few hits at hood this summer.. Rails were easy on a base that wider, although small jib stuff they got in the way a little. Jumps were fun even though they are heavy, but I would need more time on them to really decide... I could 3 them on a 10ish foot gap no problem and they were fun to butter. A few people at Stevens are always using their bents in park, even when it's icy and theres no pow on the mountain. I'll be using my LL2s a ton in park I'm sure.

when i was skiing in a sling, i only road my bents in the park because i was mostly skiing pow then a run in the park at the end of the day. They have a much lesser chance of catching on reverts and landing sideways 'n shit so i wanted to keep the shoulder safe.

they are heavier for sure but i could still get switch ups, 4s off, 7s, backwards 5s and all that junk.

i like them, but i prefer regular park skis if im skiing park all the time.

What you will find is that they are super fun to just mess around on, like just easy tricks, butters, ect. When you actually try to learn something new on them, or are trying a harder and more technical trick, they will be much much harder than something that was designed purely for park. This is not to say that you cant do the harder tricks, it just takes a lot more skill, and a lot more air generally. They are super fun to just go through the park on at the end of a pow day though. Hope this helped.

i know andy and pep ride um in the park and rock it. i have ridden mine in the park i didnt have to many problems spinning anythin under a 7. like 1s 3s and 5s were money. i was scared for my life the one time i took um on rails. that why i stick to the pow with the bents
