Aye, I will buy one of these skis three.

They will be used in powder, crud, pillows, minigolf lines, and anything else that fits into that category.

I weigh 160 pounds.

I stand at 6"2.

I ski interior BC.

I need a powder ski.

Rockered - given

Wide - given

And now is where I'm getting lost. Do I want a super rockered, soft 189 Hellbent mounted centre? What about the very versitile looking Bibby Pro? And finally, what about the Donner Party? Rockered with reverse sidecut letting me turn on a dime in this soft snow that I ski so much of. I'm lost in this battle with myself. Please, give me reasons, explinations, and stories to help me come to my conclusion.Which ever one I choose, they will be mounted with Fischer X17.

I need input friends.

well i guess it depends on what you like to do in pow. charge or play around. Bibbys would be a great bc booter ski, while bents would be a great over all ski. Donner parties will be to much of a quiver ski. i would get bibbys sense alot of people have bents and i think they just look like alot of fun

such a pointless fact is not going to sway my mind on what ski to get. thing with the donner party's is that they WILL be a quiver ski. I'll have silencers for park, (i dont ski much park)firstbloods for all-mountain, and then these for powder.

as far as how i'll be skiing them, pretty much all powder stuff. SOMEWHAT charging down steeps, dropping cliffs, hitting jumps, and lots of switch.

donner party because your hair is red

seriously why would you need a versitile ski when you only ski powdah everyday

Yah, have you considered ARG's? And do you ride really aggressive, because I've seen a pair of bibby pro's broken by someone smaller than you...

those were protos.

I'd say DP's. The will definitely be your pow days only skis but firstbloods should work fine for everything else. And in the powder.. ohh my god DP's are epic. I've never ridden bents but if I was only skiing pow I'd choose DP's over Bibbys. They'll bust through everything and on hardpack.. believe it or not you won't be totally lost getting back to the lift.

Go with the Donner Parties..

I saw some of the moment guys rippin pow last season at kirkwood on those things..

basically the sickest skis for powder i've ever seen.

take a look at the 08/09 K2 obSETHed. Its a wide ski with a moderate rocker and it would be perfect for skiing everything.

get some hellbents yo! i honestly havent had as much fun on another ski before, and no other ski has been that versatile either

haha, how can an amazing ski that is so epic in pow be played, i dont even understand your comment. so i should pick a less sick ski for pow simply because a bunchof cats ride em already. that makes sense maybe ill ski on some water skis cause they arent played yet

but for the fellow who created this post, i would aggree with this guy. or the bent's. i ride bents but willl be getting some dp's for this winter and if i lived in BC think i would ride dp's more then my bents. but dude there is a lot to say for trying each out before you buy.

I tried out the hellbents last year on a powder day, and I have to say those skis are just amazing. you can pop in deep snow so easy, pop a whellie/butter when ever you want to. The best part of these skis is that when heading back to the lifts is that they made awesome turns on the groomers and in the park they are a blast. I havent tried the moments skis yet, but from what i know i say hellbents are the way to go.

Some pics of the Moments are below. I haven't skied the Hellbents, but have heard people speak very highly of them. Great in powder as you would expect but fairly versatile as well. One big negative is that they are heavy.

Both the Donner Party and Bibby Pro are fairly light. When hand flexing, the DP is a bit stiffer and lighter. The BP does has some extra glass in it. The rocker seems considerably larger in the BP versus the DP.

Man, those are some sweet photos, +karma for some helpful stuff, it's actually better than moment have supplied (no hate, i love you (no homo)...)

Thanks for the photos and info on hand flex. The graphics are looking so colorful, amazing.
peace

The comment about how rocker is BP is bigger than that in DP sways my mind more. I'm still leaning towards the DP, but I still lack certinty.
