Got the 179 stiffs. Super round, deep flex. Stiff, but not too stiff. Seems like it will be an awesome charging ski for light people, liek me(135lbs). They're so light its unreal.Lighter than any other fat ski I've held. Even lighter than my AR5s Construction looks bomber, mounting points are right on spot. Almost a full twin. Probably 1/2-3/4 twin. The tip profile looks perfect for powder.Graphics look great also. Can't wait to get on them.

BROs are sickness.

Jesus, though, that is so much camber.

I'm digging the camber of my new el jefes - they, somehow, ended up being slightly reverse camber. rocker tip kind of like those made'ns floating around.

What are you mounting on them?

There won't be as much camber after they've been ridden a few times supposedly. Not sure what to mount them with yet. Maybe a Mojo 15 or Look P14?

there is a guy at Smuggs that I see on those things. They look like super sick skis. I've never seen them at a shop or anything and those ones I've seen on the mtn. are the only ones I've ever seen. Mail-order only????

I've only skied one marker binding. They did fine, but people say dont get them if you wanna stay on your skis. I don't want markers because you can't pull the heel up if your in deep snow, or in a tight space where you cant stomp hard.

pmgearusa.com

its a little oldschool, but a new site should be in the works. they make some kickass ski bags and luggage at the right price.

I'll be getting the 188 stiffs as a touring set-up for next season. Had a chance to ski the softs and stiffs. Fun skis, and super sturdy for such a light weight ski

Hell no $600 aint bad to be rocking handmade Indy skis with a reputation like the bros have for absolutely killing it. I can't wait for my Kingswood Fats to come.

ya im gettin the same ones...179 stiffs...and probably putttin a naxo or fristchi bindings on. Or ill just put a look binidng...i dk but they seem to be sick

a lot stiffer than the vicious. a little stiffer than the mantra. deffinately a stiff ski, but its hard to tell by just hand flexing.

I think stiffs are not quite as stiff as the explosive.

but you can super stiffs and then even a stiffer pair I believe.

Softs I think are at gotama or so stiffness.

much much stiffer than SP/SV.

After riding my 265 Iggies all season and now the El Jefe, which I would put at 260 as well, my SP are SO soft.

just hand flexing them and I feel like they will break.

yo what should i search for to look for info bout the bros..when i search bro nothing comes up

search...

BROs

"bro model"

"bro review"

"188 Bros"

anything like that.

I just searched bros and came up with 20 pages of stuff.

Try searching in just the tech talk forum..

just pulled the trigger on some 188 stiffs and some naxo21's, should make the perfect touring setup/everyday patrol ski.

Having skied both the 188 softs and the 188 stiffs. They softs are stiffer than sv's, but that's not saying a whole lot. Probably the smart buy for most. I'm 6'2 190 and the stiffs just felt like they blasted crud better (what i'm looking for). I was still able to flex them, and in tight spots they're so light I couldn't notice a difference between stiff and softs. Weight not being a huge difference for my touring set-up, I went with the stiffs. Hopefully they'll get some use through March, Kirkwood has a 200in base at the bottom.
