The first two are me, because my friends have lame sauce excuses like jobs and soccer practice. Where is your dedication? Yeah, I'm calling you out Collin. So I went up and skied around in what was ridiculously light snow for the time of year. I had a little log jib and some sort of bump that might be an excuse for a jump. I really just wanted to do a bit of buttering as well. October skiing accomplished!

Big Sky has gotten 12" so far, it's looking good! I have to find out if I'm working today right now, if not I may be skiing somewhere in the Bridgers.

You thought wrong! There's a good chance that I won't be working today, so I just might see you up there. Although I think I'd rather ski Frazier Lake because there will be more snow and the terrain's cooler up there.

i just dont have a lot of time so bb is so much closer. I have class till noon and then some volunteer shit at 4 so I think a few laps at bb is what skiing today will entail for me. I wish i could find out somewhere online how much snow bb got.

I just got back from skiing Bridger and it wasn't anything special. I got first tracks off the big part of the ramp at the top of Alpine to complete flat, it was EPIC. There might be 10-12" up higher, but at the bottom it's really thin. I'm waiting for more snow before I ski again.

i just got back from bridger. i skied the open snowfield skiers left of the alpine lift, I think this is above the alpine lift as well, outside of the boundry. The snow was good for about 350-400 vertical ft but quickly got real shitty. The turns in the upper part were decent though. I didn't hit any rocks up there and got snow blowin up above my waist. The rest of the way down though i was just super scared that i was going to hit a rock or a log and end my season early. I will agree, no more skiing for me until another decent storm, which looks like that might be coming towards the end of the week!

got september skiing and october skiing checked off the list though, so its all good.

Yeah, today reminded me how much I hate boot packing. I don't think I'll be skiing again until I can use my nice skis and skin.

sorry for no skiing shots, i was having too much fun to take pictures at first, then at the bottom i was to scared i was going to nail a rock to think about anything else.

More rain came through the flathead today, so that should be headed towards Bozeman. We are going up to Blacktail tomarrow and mounting an assault on Logan Pass on Friday. Ill post pics later.

Snow advisory in effect for the area from midnight tonight to 6pm friday. 6-12" in the mountains and 2-4" in the valleys.

tuesday night i did some skiing at my friends house.. me and a few others sessioned this box but then the box started to get demolished. fun though. its suposed to snow more this week too. starting tonight ive herd.

sunday is going to be a decent day i think. blue bird and probably about 2-3 ft on the ground. i hope the weather works out so that we keep getting snow, so a nasty layer of surface hoar doesn't develop.

A large crew of people is going up to Logan pass tomarrow. We should be up there about 11 to 11:30 in the morning. Come join us if you want.
