MY mom just won the lotto and said that i could have 5 gs and i was wondering if i should get this or a pogo stick

id buy hellbents.....and a saga suit......and poles.....no wait fuck poles....new oakleys......and boots....hell with 5 grand u can get a whole new setup.....put the rest in an emergency ski fund....just incase your hellbents go to hell on ya

where do you live? bents and a sled could be the best investment of your life if you live westward somewhere. get some shovels too, and buy your budies some fatty skis also so they can all come rip and build with you.

Id say put a lil of it towards a new hellbent setup and save the rest, that way u get a new toy but still feel responsible, and thats fucking sick with the lotto congrats man

negative. High yield savings accounts practically don't even exist. Economy sucks right now. You are better off investing in mutual funds or stocks. Better yet, invest it into your IRA. You do have an IRA right? If you don't have a job forget about it though, you can't invest more than you make.

Don't spend your windfall money on shit. Work for shit.

sleds are really expensive, and even more expensive to run, especially with the fuel prices nowadays. 5 g's isnt gunna cut it

You wont get much out of a snowmobile with 5 Grand, considering gas prices. Buy yourself a new pair of skis and some outerwear.

If you live on the west coast then a snowmobile could actually benefit you, then again you wouldn't have much left if you bought a sled and probaly end up feeling guilty and pissed. Buy what you need and invest the rest.

Keep in mind a snowmobile also requires

1. Truck and/or trailer.

2. Gas

3. Permits

4. Correct me if I'm wrong: insurance?

haha, all these people saying be responsible and invest?? fuck that, have fun with it, buy a snowmobile for 2 grand, a sick setup for 1 grand, and save the rest for your snowmobile when you need to get it fixed and shit.

a snowmachine is more expensive then you think my friend. what does he do after he buys it? gas is ridiculous. you have to fill up TWICE every time. your truck and snowmobile. it gets expensive quick.

I suggest buying a snowmobile only if you have the money to back it up. by the time you get set up to go, you'll either wreck it and need expensive parts or run out of gas money to keep it running.

make sure you think about your options carefully my friend. there are much better ways to USE MONEY AS A TOOL then just blow it.

davis you bitch ass nig your mom didn't win shit.

But this is a pretty clownin post. some kids take shit wayyyy to seriously.

im just basing it off my friend, he bought a sled for 2 grand, its not amazing or anything, but we have used it in pretty damn deep snow with no problems. he hasnt had any big problems, most everything you can fix by yourself.
but how much does it cost to fill up a sled? it cant be that bad, and its got to get great gas mileage. and if you can afford gas to drive to a ski area, its usually the same amount of gas to get to a good bc area. plus a little for the sled and thats it.
obviously a sled is gonna cost a little extra. but if you can afford to ski, you can most likely afford a sled.

fo sho, i mean a mid-rate hooker is only 50 bucks an hour, i mean that's cheaper than a girlfriend, shitttt.
