anyone see this on the news? a rescue helicopter up at hood was rescuing some people in a crevasse, and it crashed and rolled down the slope. i didnt hear if anyone was killed.

yea the helicopter was trying to rescue some climbers who had fallen. It crashed and one of the crew members is in critical condition.

holy shit!!! i just saw the video of it. its is crazy. 3 of the climbers that fell in the cravase died, and like the other 5 were injured. i think they said that one of the 4 on the helicopter died, but i'm not sure. but holy crap. the just like smashes into the mountain and starts to roll, scary

 
I saw it on the news like 100 times and if you look really close near the end you can see a peson fall out and rool then get rolled over by the chopper......scarry stuff

I think it was just a gust of wind and the pilot tried to pull out but there was no room to turn.

the scariest part of it is.. that the hikers were walkin on snow in bounds.. and there was water under the snow... the snow just gave way and they fell into it... that could happen anywhere... my girlfriend is in hood right now. and she says that there were skiers skiing in the same area earlier that day... it could have been way worse...

so far just 3 dead and a few missing....

i think it's 4 now...3 in the crevass died, and one in the heli crash...the heli went down due to sudden down draft, bad luck...and the guys were climbers

Yea tak because im sure canadians wouldnt or didnt watch the same thing dumbass its not just americans.. i think its natural of any human to be interested in that kind of stuff it just isnt americans you asshole, its just human instinct. And think how many times you saw the plane flying into the world trade center a far greater number died from that then this crash.Its just news they are reporting to you whats going on and showing how horrible it is. My friend's dad was a helicopter pilot for the helicopter that crashed this week in the rocky mountains... rip old man
