i wanna know about it. whose done it? is it worth the mad expensiveness of it? i know a guy that is a guide...i should probably ask him...but

experiences? good stories? im very interested. although my wallet does not allow it...maybe someday haha

my cousin went heliskiing in BC and he said it was the experience of a lifetime....totally worth it according to him.

its fun but not like the movies so don't expect that, way more mellow terrain, but still good snow i prefer cat skiing, but they are both expensive as crap

i wounld make a trip out to silverton colorado druing a massive storm u can get great terrian for a 1/10 of the cost its awsome too

it was the best day of my life. on the right day it was totally worth every penny. expensive though.

yep if you can't afford going heli skiiing go cat skiing....ive only been a couple times but some of the best times on skis

i think that cat skiing gives you access to less extreme terrain, but from what I've heard the powder is much lighter than in heli skiing. Based on cost i would definitely go with cat skiing.

the terrain isnt exposed when u go to most cat ski terrain becasue cats cant scale huge extreme slops like a heli can and usually the places that u go heli skiing are in costal mountains and so the snow is alot heaver

Ok, so last winter for christmas i got to go heli-skiing up in whislter. IT IS WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!!! They took our group up to Brandywine Glacier, which is about 5 miles due west of Whistler, and i had a total of five runs. It was the most amazing thing i have ever done, from being in the heli to them dropping you off at 10,000 feet and leaving and then there is just silence. Its so crazy becuase you could see whistler in the distance and it looked just like a little ant hill. Anyway, the price seems sort of crazy, but if you add up everything that you get in the package its fairly resonable, and totally worth it if you have the money. pm if you have any more questions...

umm, i really cant remember how much vert...they would drop us at 10,000 and it would usually take like 15 minutes of pow skiing to get to the pick up zone, pretty slow skiing too with a few rests, i know it was a lot but i bet they would have it on their website. the price shouls be on there too, but it was really resonable for all the stuff that you get to do.

im goin heliskiing in february at Kicking Horse...gona be sik shit...i dont have to pay for it too!! my friends dad sold their house on Nantucket and he's taken us...gona be ill cause even when we;re on the regular mountain there's like fuckin 75 peaks...hope its good snow
