Heli-skiing like it should be

Finally a heli-ski company has decided that we (freeskiers) are an actual market, and has started to cater towards that.

CMH kootenay's steep shots and pillow drops program. Still expensive for most of us, but for those that can afford it, you get the classic/legendary heli-skiing pow on top of the terrain you actually want to ski

this is great. When i went heli skiing all i could think about is how i could have skied a blue run for alot less fucking cash

Cat skiing was fun but the terrain wasn't that exciting ... guides must get bored as fuck

CMH seems to be branching out. they're notorious for being an organization for old gapers with very strict guides

When I went catskiing at chatter creek we got into some sick terrain. After 2 runs with our guide he got a feel for our group and aske if we wanted to go to a cliff ban an what kind of terrain we wanted to ski. Mainly steeper with some drops and pillow lines are what my group skied.

Cats over heli id say. just from what i have heard , ive only been heli skiing. i paid 350$ for 3 runs ( a killer deal) and no way i would pay that again. i would rather tour and get to pick my lines thank you
