Heli-skiing in BC or AL

Family going on a skiing trip to Big White and Banff next week and just wanted to make it a memorable trip with a hell skiing trip somewhere along the way.

Does anyone know any reputable companies to do it through? I understand that you can't in the national park, but any places nearby?

I also hear Big White's powder is pretty great, and it might work better to hire a sled or something for a day and save 1000 bucks.

Let me know what you think, especially if you've skied there before!

Thanks ns

Oh no, What have i done?

Mustang has a deal on for early December, but it's a three day trip.

If you're looking for a day trip, you may look into Purcell heli dkiing in Golden. But most companies run multi-day trips and are booked already.

I assume you'll be looking at just a day trip for heli skiing?

CMH Revelstoke, Selkirk-Tangiers, and Eagle Pass all have single day options for heli skiing. All three are based in Revelsoke

Great Canadian Heli offers a 2 day option as the minimum (between Golden and Revelstoke on the east side of Glacier NP).

Purcell Heli out of Golden does day trips as well.

RK Heli down in Panorama does day trips, but the one mentioned above are on route between Banff and Kelowna, where as Pano isn't.

Also - closer to Kelowna side of things is a new operation called Kingfisher. They offer day trips and might not get fully booked as quickly as the operations around Revelstoke/Golden.

That is your complete list of options along the corridor between Banff and Kelowna for heli operations that offer day trips.

If your interested in driving about 5 hours north, Mike Wiegele Heli-ski is an awsome experiance according to what I hear from my richass friends.
