Heli coiling bindings.

Heli coiling is used for repair, not for installation. it is worth it if you have stripped screws

some guy at boulder ski deals was saying it helps prevent your bindings tearing out. he said dumont and olenik go there for it. it might just be lies.

theyre good if your bindings have already pulled out, but they dont hold up to any kind of shock at all, they start to fall out after a bunch of heavy landings making them pointless if you ski park a load.

Epoxy them in if you want more retention.

People do helicoil new skis but it's a waste of time and money and I've seen them done really badly, then they're a bitch to fix or even worse you're left with huge holes in your skis and need to remount 2cm forward or back.

yeah i thought about heli-coiling my skis when i was mountain them, but i'd rather have that as an option as repair, rather than huge holes in my skis.
