Height/Weight & Ski length

I'm 6'2' weigh about 195 and I want a new pair of twins. I've demoed the Karmas in a 176 and they ruled! I was thinking they were a bit short but they road really well in 1-2 feet of fresh, had tons of pop, were great in the trees, and on cliffs. They have a 184ish model also. What do you think?

How tall are you and what do you weigh and what is your ski length?

i am 5' 11' 170 and i am on the 177 karma they are a good size for me i like them better then the 169. they are a stiff ski so the might be just fine for you

 
im 6'6'' 190 lbs, and im on some 189 pistols. theyre pretty good, although i would go bigger. actually, theyre plenty in the park/pipe etc. but for the rest of it i wish i had me a pair of maidens.

go with the 184cm, the reason why is that they will be more stable for your weight, because the way you turn a ski is by flexing it, so you need the bigger ski. And since your on a big hill you will want the extra length under your foot for stability.

 
I'm 6'2'', 180lbs, and I have 179 PEs and 179 Seth Pistols. Both are the '04s. I know I can handle the 189 Pistols but I ski a lot of woods so the 179s are a bit more nimble, and yet they still carve like crazy and are very stable at speed. I just think the 179 is a more versatile size for the type of skiing I do

I'm 5'8' 165 and I ride 177's but I think next year I'm going to get the S-lab 186.

I'm 5'9 175 and ride 179 PEs..Love them and wouldn't go shorter..

im 5'11 and 180lb. and i got 179 PE's i think u should go with the 184ish ones. does anyone know if k2's new pe's come in 183 or is that just a rumor?

 
6'2 190, i was skiing 177's but just bought some 183's, if you're center mounting, or going any where near it might as well take the extra length

 
5'9', 165, and I ride the 169 1080's. They work well for me, and I'm looking for some 169ish Public Enemy's (hint hint, anyone have some for sale?)

i read in one of the reviews that the 177 is the perfect size for the karma. the 184 is still a sick ski for sure, but the karma with the best ride quality is the 177....what i ride.

I had no complaints with them. They skiied powder like a much longer ski and felt super light.

175lbs, 5 8', and i ski a 167 chronic. it is short for me, but i can also handle the 179 maiden aks, my next years ski

he really is that way its mad funny im like 5'8'' 5'9'' range and weigh 145..ridin 171's.....going bigger next year, maby a 176ish...not too much of a difference

sorry for resurrecting this thread... for the record, I used the search bar instead of creating a new thread

I'm 5'4", 130 lbs. and I ski on 150 cm ex-rentals.

I know it's a sad story, but I only got them to practice for riding a splitboard. And now I like skiing and I'm stuck with them, and ski hardgoods really, really confuse me...

So what length of twin tip ski should I think of getting next? I want to do park mostly, or try to.
 
5'9" 175lbs, 179 pistols for park, 188 JP vs Juliens for all mountain, 185 ARGs for pow, and soon 191 on3p great scotts are replacing the JP vs Juliens.
 
maybe its cuz IM used to playin hockey and football but, those weight readings seem pretty low for most peoples hieght. But anyways, Im 5 10 and 205 pounds, and I rock 181 and 182 Rossi's
 
im 5' 6" and 140 ( i kno im heavy but its all muscle for reals not just a fatass makin shit up) and i ski my karmas in 161 so.... yea
 
wtf people like over 6 ft and shit weighing 140... u must look like telephone poles... are u anorexic or something? i cant even imagine what that would look like... oh yeah, SICK is what came to mind... and not in a positive way
