I know this is a question im going to have to take to a shop either way, i just want some advice as to weather or not i should start looking for new bindings... I have a pair of axil bindings (the older turntables) that are great i love them. The only problem is that one of the heel pieces keep unscrewing themselves (if your farmiliar with them you know that its just a phillips screw, I think they might be stripped or something because i find myself tightining them back up ever day or so. What do you think? I dont mind having to crank them down but is that really unsafe? Only knowlagable answers please

When you say its unscrewing, are you talking about the large screw that actually slides the heel piece forward and backwards?

its probably stripped, and if ur talking about the 4 screws that hold the binding to your ski, u should be fine if only one is coming out but it two or more start pulling then i would recommend remounting

My old piots did that, there was nothing I was able to do to fix them. I would say that they are trashed.

one time i was pissed at my shitty 4frnt bindings and i kicked the heel piece off one of them on accident. :)
