Heel Lift

I have a problem. No matter how small I go with my ski boots I still get heel lift. I've used Langes and Kryptons (two boots with narrow fits) and am down to a size 26.5 even though I wear a size 10 shoe. Does anyone know of some kind of insert or something like that?

Thanks.

How the hell are you getting heel lift in the Krypton? It's nearly impossible with the middle buckle.

yeah its nearly impossible for me. i'm locked it. after a run or two lock the middle buckle down another notch or so. or maybe try gettin a custom foot bed if you know of a good footbedder

I'll try cranking them down more after a few runs.

Another factor:

The Kryptons fit perfectly in April when I bought them. In October, I royally fucked up my ankle. It was swollen for a month, and the swelling eventually turned into cysts (which my doctor told me may be permanent.) So now my right ankle is significantly thicker than it used to be. When I torque the middle buckle way down, I cut of circulation to some parts of my foot.

I know this means the boot doesn't fit my foot right, but I can't ditch brand new boots. Plus, the left one still fits fine. I know there's not really any advice to give on my plight; I just want to vent.
