So i got Full Tilts 2 years ago (or 3?, i dunno). Didn't go to a bootfitter, i know stupid. i just figured the shop guys in my area would try to sell me some SPKs or a pair of heavyweight somethings that'd i'd hate. I also got the boots in what feels like a half size too large (i can wiggle my toes but still touch the tip of the liner).
anyways, i've had subtle problem the entire time. some weekend they're perfect, others they act up but nothing like the past 2 weekends.
Now these past 2 weekends a few things happened. First, i got new skis (afterbangs), second i started doing front flips (half of which i land backseat), third i started buttering ALOT and skiing less and less in a normal sense. So with all these things in effect i came off my skis last saturday and could barely walk the next morning. So Dr. Am i in wrong boots (model wise or size wise) (which feel great 95% of the time) or do i just need to learn how to ski on a super flexy ski.
gimmie your thoughts even though i figure half of you are going to just tell me i should have gone to a boot fitter whenever i got my boots.
i'm sure i'm leaving out some details and if it's any help to the situation, i'm 150lbs on 177skis and a #6flex boot.
Grammer Nazi's welcome.
