im going 2 heavenly this febuary vacation and i was wondering if there are and crazy cliff out there or anything els like cool lines?

heavenly is the wronfg place for that stuff man, their park looks nice. go down the road an hour to kirkwood and ski some real stuff.

I beg to differ, When Killebrew and Mott canyon are open, you can surely find these things.

Then again, these powderstashes are rarely ever open and when they are, are tracked out faster than you can say "heavenly is for groomers"

If you want gnarlie terrain, go down to Kirkwood, its about a 45 min drive from so. tahoe. Much better stuff there, and their park in my opinion is much better.

yeha, ive definitely heard that kirkwood is good, and squaw looks good from parts of mcconkeys segments

Kirkwood is dope terrain, their park isn't as good as Heavenly right now though. Heavenly is sick and it only gets sicker after southshore.

Im going up to heavenly too, last week of feburary into the first week of march. I dont know how many resorts outside of heavenly ill actually be able to ski, but im sure its better than what we have in minnesota.

mott and kill are cool, so are the parks...

but the rest is just lots of gapers and crowded groomers...

not to mention when mott and kill are open, EVERYONE goes there, especially mott cuz its lift accessible...

Yeah if you want to hit up Heavenly Canyons you need to be there like ultra early after a storm, and even then you have plenty of crowds to deal with. Weekdays, if there is a storm, you can get some insane shit up in Killebrew, if you don't mind hiking a little bit for the real shit.

i went during xmas break to heavenly and kirkwood and I would have to say kirkwood owned. It rained at heavenly but snowed at kirkwood for one thing. Kirkwood's park isnt bad right now, it has a couple of nice tables and a wall ride at the end. Kirkwood's snow is also way better than heavenly because of its altitude. Its way higher meaning lighter snow.
