Hey just heres a lil update on the parks @ Heavenly. we currently have 2 parks up. we had to take down the 3rd one in NV due to mtn access.

Groove park (small)- 26 features incuding 8 jumps-including 5 jump line (range from 8ft-20ft)

Powderbowl Park (medium) 24+ features, 3 jump line (range 30-40ft), butter pad, lots of recycled jibs.

we'll get more up once mother nature helps.. large park is next on list and we"ll try to get a park back up over in NV soon too.

Hope that stuff is in order when I get to visit and ride out there. Haven't ridden a legit "park" in forever.
Alaska doesn't really have that stuff, but it makes up for it with the best snow and endless backcountry.
 
jumps are legit now and 3rd one got built up a little. People have been filming and stoked ... but park will proably get closed down at some point during this storm then we will rebuild and get the large park rollin off of jackpot/canyon.
 
an olympic park would be awesome... perfect place to just lap over and over, and it's out of the way of the main run. Post up like 3 or 4 jumps and a jib line, and it would be money!
 
that would be nice, but their pronanly not going to give us that area due to the new lift. but we are looking into more locations and we start Jackpot park tomorrow! we just rebuild Powder bowl and added a bunch more stuff to groove park..33features now.
 
the park was over on olympic back in 03 or 04. it was a medium park when the big park was on cal trail. by far, it was my favorite location for a park at heavenly. lived up on the north shore last year and rode heavenly twice. this will be the first year i will ride the new park. it looks like right now you will have to ride up sky to get to the upper jump line? and does any body know why the location changed from high and low roller to jackpot?
 


The new location ismuch better.. 2 lines of snowmaking and the run isnt off camber like highroller run is. + highroller has no snowmaking lines. Yes you can still access Jackpor park from canyon express and you can take sky chair too. heres a few links of some vid's.

we opened jackpot park jumps today... 4 jump line. (4th one soon will have a hip too- so you can hit the 3 upper, then hip and head to Powderbowl park and hit 3 more jumps)
 
update:

jackpot park rebuilt encuding 4 jump line. -5 days ago

Powderbowl park rebuilt and 3 jump line re worked. -2 days ago

all these features look soooo sexy wish i could hit those right nowbut im on the other side of the lake guess its worth the drive
