Heavenly opening?

Hey me and a some friends are heading down from Oregon on wednesday and staying til sunday.. whats the liklieyhood of any resorts, heavenly in particular, being open?

Hahaha I totally just did a quick tune on some guy's snowboard on Friday night... he said Heavenly was opening on Saturday...

If he actually drove up there like he was going to board (he had a gaper board anyway) then hes going to be very dissapointed and I'm going to laugh.
 
heavenly is hoping to open the 23rd...which is thursday.

and i'm counting on it being one run, with no rails/boxes anything. i'd rather be at boreal.
 
WE ARE OPENING TOMORROW!!! looks like up to 8 runs or so..? thanx to snow making and mother nature. we might have a park for the weekend. checking it out on friday, and making that call.... but looks good!
 
it was a pretty sick trip. we only got a lift ticket one day (thursday) but the real fun was over at california lodge, where we hiked it at night thanks to the lights and the dope security guards that only kicked out sledders, and let us stay. we built a small jump that had a continuous powder landing from the snow making machines.. and we set up a picninc taable, wich was fun to do spins onto.. thanks for all your help.
 
Me and a couple of friends hit up Heavenly on Saturday. We finally got to ski 2 full runs!!! The park crew was on top of it with the little room they had to work with. they 3 rails and 3 boxes including a rainbow rail and a sweet butter box... lots of gapers and tourists, but NO ONE was in the park.

props to the Heavenly Park Crew.
