Any updates on heavenly? What is the park like? Any trees? How close are they to Mott opening? Heading there late next week.

right now mott canyon isnt open. hopefully after this storm.
heavenly is alright as of now mott isnt open but i give it two more weeks..im predicting a hudge storm in a 2 weeks to hit mammoth and tahoe...last night at mammoth we got 15- 22 inches of fresh and it was bright blue skies in the mornin we have been getting these one nighterds alot this season.....its wierd but cool cuz the next day if you wake up early enough you have bright blue skis and untracked pow all to urself...

How about other tree runs like those on the Nevada side?
How is it that Heavenly only has like 13/90 trails open? Are they that type of resort that waits until theres a huge base until trails open? Checking out some of the other Tahoe areas, they have much more open and something here doesnt add up. Im heading out to Heavenly Jan 7th so thats why Im curious.
