Heavenly...60 inches?

I checked the snow report and they are reporting 60 inches in the past 24 hours!! Can anyone who lives in the area confirm this?? That's just awesome!

 
they said on the news that healenly recieved 96 inches over the past 2 days..thats strait from the weather channel

Here's a report from Kirkwood, which is not far from Heavenly.

'five feet of snow in the past 24 hours and almost nine feet since this thing snow storm started.''

unbelievable on thurs heavenly was reporting an 18 inch base and now this, by the time it gets to CO it will be nothing at least the wasatch gets it. I gotta move, 3 inches at breck yesterday was like heaven I am in the wrong place.

 
^ well, breck said 3 inches yesterday, but it turned out to be a bit more than that...especially if you went up to the t-bar, but i agree, 60 compared to 3 is ridiculous!

 
yes 60 inches in 24 hours and now its clear skys.. too bad we're invaded by the fucking billions of tourists... the drive that usually takes 5 minutes took me an hour because everyone was trying to get up there.

 
yeah we got a 100 inches in like 3 days last year at Bridger Bowl and it was so crowded, hour long lift waits, and they had to turn people back from coming to ski cause there was no parking

Yeah, it was crazy at heavenly today...so many people, but defiantly worth it. The drive took about an hour, when it usally takes 15. Supposidly there is another foot or two on the way.

 
ive heard this one place got so much snow that they actually had to close the lifts , i have no idea where but thats fuckin nuts !

^they had to close lifts at sierra at tahoe. they had only 4 lifts open today. sundays gonna be some bomb skiing

 
YEA it's true! it's stormin like crazy up there! kirkwood got 9ft in 3 days! crazy WEATHER WEST COAST! yay mega snow!

I can't believe how much snow they just got. It's unfucking believable. All of the Tahoe resorts got at least 5 feet in 3 days and Kirkwood got the most with 9 FEET. Holy shit that's a lot of snow. I can't wait to be down there. Just a few more days.
