Heat fit boots

hey my friendm got a new pair of boots and they are heat fittable but there wasnt any instuctions with the boots on how to do them so do u know what temp and for how long? thx guys

yeah they dont come with intructions because the average consumer shouldnt be doing it themselves because its super easy to ruin the liners. Take them to your shop

320 degrees, for about 25 minutes.

make sure you leave the whole boot on the oven rack for the whole time.

I tried that with my boots following your instructions... They were too hot to put on my feet and my house smells now...

yeah the guy sayin put them in your oven is an idiot. you'll ruin your liner faster than you preheat the oven. just take them to your shop and they've got the stuff to do it right.

hehe, 10-15 minutes tops on a heat mould oven. Heat fitting only does so much though. It helps the liner form to your foot a little quicker, but it's no more than what a day of skiing would do.

Someone did bring in a pair of boots to my shop once and wanted his boots warrantied cause he tried heating them in the oven. He insisted that they were supposed to be heated in the oven... according to and old school shop tech.

why dont you find me?

no one is stupid enough to put thier skis in the oven. are you kidding me? fuck son!

And if they are stupid enough, they shouldnt be allowed to use the oven, or the internet.

get killed.

yeah, skis don't fit in the oven... duh

But I kid you not, someone did come to my shop with a pair of boots that were baked in the oven cause he didn't know what kind of oven to use.

^^^hahah. or you can stick them on your grill. it pretty much waxes them if you put barbeque sauce on them

yea ill find u and ill stick ur scrawny ass in the oven u little fucker, he was talking baout boots not skis u bosetard, learn to read then read ur way off Ns.

word, that way the special heat fit liquid can stay warm longer.

its very suseptable to the microwave wavelength, this will ensure an amazing snuggliness to your fit.

also, wongbanger is a douche, i bet he snowlerblades.

i did take a hike, up my 22 ft superpipe.

were claiming biggest on the planet.

do you even have snow yet douchbag? were setting records.

see you at 12000 feet bitch!

haha fuuckk 12000 feet? thats high my mountains only 3700 and we got tons of snow

did that guy actually put his boots in the oven... thats only for SNOWBOARD BOOTS dumbass

It really depends on what kind of liner it is. There are different temps and heating styles for different liners and foams. Also you didn't let us know what kind of heat fit, a lot of boots are just toe and heel heat fit, but something like an intuition (sp?) liner is fully moldable. Take them to a shop with a good bootfitter. WORTH IT.

you stick the boot on a specific heater (for boots) which warms up the liner, so it can then conform to subtleties of your foot, giving a more enhanced fit; its like putting a mouthguard in boiling water so it gets soft enough to adjust to the shape of your teeth/mouth, and then cools to be that shape. Boots are made with a variety of materials, so some will adjust due to heat, others will not.

how do you know if some boots work and some boots doesn't? for heat fitting because i want to do it with mine, i have dalbello dxsuper but i think these are rental boots
