Headphones

Is there a reliable pair of headphones out there anymore? I feel like ive tried them all and always stop working in one ear. It is the worst. If anybody knows of a good reliable pair let me know!!

skullcandy icon soft. or just use ear buds like the ones that come with apple things. those work well for me

yeah ive had like 5 pairs of icons and they always just stop working in one of the ears im sick of them. like i love them but they are just never reliable for me. but yeah thats what i was thinking, those are usually really nice

i dont know then.... i had a pair of lowriders, but they broke in half in my backpack =P so now i use some pieces of shit i found in my closet that look like they came out of a 4000 pound gorilla

Stay away from skullcandys, all thought, they do have lifetime warrenties. They are real good about replacing broken phones.

ooh yeah ive been through about 5 pairs of icons and like its dope how they just replace them, but im just sick of having to deal with that i just want a pair of reliable headphones that are comfy and good for riding ya know

lol@ skullcandylol@ apple headphones (most uncomfortable pieces of crap ever invented)
buy sony, shure, akg, audiotechnica, or check out Ultimate Ears, they make the best consumer headphone, imho

the nixon whips are great for under a helmet, dono if you wear one but either way i find they're a bit more reliable than skullcandy

Yeah. There is not much plastic that goes around your head so it wont dig in to your skull painfully when your wearing a helmet. Then again of you don't wear one its not making much of a difference, except imo they sound better than icons.

ive got some akg k81dj's they're really durable, i wouldnt be too worried about throwing them out the window. should be found for like 60$. bass is pretty tight and strong nice for electro, they're uncomfortable for extended wearing periods
i'm looking at getting audio technica athm50, beyerdynamic dt770, or denon adh1001(or senn hd555 but they're so ugly) look at those

i ended up getting the ath m50's for 110 at B&H (some online store, legit, fast, cheap), my friend who recently bought the dre beats tour? earbuds for 200$ and he was blown away by the m50s. they sound soo nice, for the past week ive been listening to all my music again. a huge improvement over the akg k81dj, the bass is so deep and sexy. i might be ordering a few more for family/friends, AMAZING. these are studio headphones, so you can mix with them

ath m50 = godly

koss portapro

koss pro dj 100

seinheisser hd 800

Denon AH-D7000

AKG k701

just a few.

stay away from skull candy, they're shit.

seinheisser, denon, koss, are just a few that make some quality headphones. Don't break easily and good sound. With headphones, you pay for what you get. You put down 500 bucks on headphones, you get some damn good headphones that will last you for years. You put down 30 and you'll get some shitty easily breakable ones. Don't be surprised when skullcandy headphones don't sound good or break easily.

just send them back to skullcandy under their warranty. If they just stopped working skullcandy will give you credit to their online store so you can buy a new pair.

Yup, best sound quality I have ever heard. I love mine. I would almost compare them to the quality of the Bose noise canceling headphones.

Beats get raped by bose in ear....and I broke my beats first day riding cause they got like stretched?

i would never ski with beats, but NOTHING and i mean NOTHING can beat the studio beats that ive listened to

beats are a genius marketing ploy. my hat goes off to mr. dre. most bros who buy them for $300 don't use them in a way that they will actually notice a sound difference because they get all their music off thissongissick.com and other music blogs featuring excellent mashups

lolignorance.. google sennheiser hd
also, beyerdynamic headzones are redic..
on a budget, portapros

also, don't get me started on ultimate ears. ultimate ears make the best headphones on the planet, hands down
